Yes yes, It has been gone from the website for a while now, but Up Close And Personal is available again for everyone who wants it! And just as a few years ago it is available for free!
You can find it on the Up Close And Personal page where you can click the MP3 buttons added next to the tracks on the tracklist. The album was gone from the site for a while due to server issues but now it is back where it should be.
Listening to the album in December of last year was a very strange experience for me. I had not listened to the damn thing since the release and it was weird to hear myself making all this weird music. One of the things that went through my mind while listening to the record was: “What the hell was in my dinner those weeks!? This shit can’t be good for your mental health!”
The production is the same as it was, so don’t expect a Grammy-award winning album. However I do think it is vital to the TDW history to put this record back online where it belongs. And for some reason I always have to go to the bathroom after Fearless Speeding Maniacs… But that’s probably unrelated.
And in other news it can be said that Theodore will be returning to the living world to bring a message about the TDW plans for 2012 and beyond. The video will follow in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
And finally, the TDW website will be getting some updates in the coming weeks as well, so don’t be too surprised when it looks different then it used to.
